Carin's Story

I was born and raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania — a small town where everyone knows everyone. My early years were shaped by both love and struggle. Raised primarily by my grandmother while my parents battled addiction, I learned resilience at an early age. Despite the odds, I graduated from high school and college and began a promising career in corporate banking.

But life took a difficult turn. At 28, just weeks after giving birth to my first child, I was indicted on federal conspiracy charges and sentenced to 199 months in prison. What felt like the end became a season of transformation.

After serving 10 years, I was released on December 22, 2020 — renewed, refocused, and determined to use my story to inspire others. Today, I’m a mother, advocate, and leader committed to empowering individuals to rise above their past, heal from pain, and walk boldly into their purpose.
